Meet Rob

Rob’s story is one of resilience and the power of self belief.

Rob was raised by his nanny, and when Merle passed away suddenly when he was just 13, Rob had to grow up quickly and figure things out on his own. Those early years weren’t easy, but they taught him strength, independence, and a deep appreciation for the people who showed up along the way. It’s that same determination and work ethic that still shows up in everything he does today.

FROM FITNESS TO
GROWING FLOWERS

In 2015, Rob became a qualified personal trainer and quickly discovered a passion for helping others transform their lives. That same year, he launched his own PT business, which he still runs today.

Rob and I met in 2016, and not long after, we started building The Queen’s Quarters together. From packing wedding vans to late night flower prep, he as always there, helping behind the scenes. What started as my dream quickly became our journey and together, it’s grown into the life we have now at the farm.

When we moved to the farm we made our first trip to the local hardware store and brought home a handful of dahlia tubers. Rob took it upon himself to care for them, and unexpectedly, he fell in love with growing.

With zero gardening experience, no idea how to use a power tool, and a whole lot of mistakes (plus a bit of help from YouTube), he threw himself into farm life. One fence post and flower bed at a time, Little Lyndoch Flower Farm came to life

These days, Rob takes care of our entire farm. Over the past few years, he’s poured himself into learning everything he can about soil health, growing conditions, and flower varieties, through trial, error, and persistence. The flowers we grow, and the quality we’re known for, are a true testament to his care and commitment.

Rob is the definition of not allowing your past to define you, and he’s an example of how we all have the ability to learn, grow, and do more than we ever thought we could.
